Gutter Cleaning & Maintenance
Full clear-out of gutters and downspouts so water flows before storm season and winter.
About gutter cleaning & maintenance
Clogged gutters are the quiet cause of most fascia rot, foundation water, and ice dams. We clear the gutters and the downspouts of leaves, seeds, and grit, flush the runs to confirm they drain, and check the pitch, seams, hangers, and outlets while we're up there — so a small fix gets caught before it becomes a leak. We bag and haul the debris and leave the ground clean. It's inexpensive insurance against the water damage a season of neglect can cause.
The problem we solve: Gutters packed with debris that overflow, hold standing water, rot the fascia, and feed ice dams.

Process
Our 4-step gutter cleaning & maintenance process
- Clear by hand. We hand-clear the gutters and pull the debris from the outlets and downspout tops.
- Flush the downspouts. We flush each downspout and clear any blockage so the whole run drains.
- Inspect while up there. We check pitch, seams, hangers, and fascia and flag anything that needs attention.
- Bag & haul. We bag the debris, haul it away, and rinse down the work area.
Typical timeline: Most homes are cleaned and flushed in one to two hours.

FAQ
Gutter Cleaning & Maintenance FAQs
- How often should gutters be cleaned in Kansas City?
- At least once in late fall, and often again in spring if you have heavy oak, maple, or sweetgum cover. Guards reduce that, but don't eliminate it.
- Do you clear the downspouts too?
- Yes — we flush every downspout and clear blockages. A clean gutter still overflows if the downspout is packed.
- Do you haul the debris away?
- Yes, we bag and haul the debris and rinse down the work area before we leave.
